Since the first day iPods hit the market, they've become instant hits. The iPod offers you more features than you could imagine. The unique thing about this small little electronic device is that it does all these things by itself. You don't need a dozen other gadgets with it just to make it work. There are so many functions that your iPod can easily perform, it's little wonder that this new, yet not so new, device is so incredibly popular with ages from 6 years old up through adults of all ages.

If you like music and who doesn't, you'll love what the iPod can do. Remember back in the day when you'd copy your favorite songs on a cassette and carry them around with your boom box or headphones? Unfortunately, all you could fit on the cassettes were a dozen or so songs. While CDs offer you more room and flexibility, you're still limited. The iPod allows you to store thousands of your favorite songs so you can listen to them at your leisure wherever you happen to be. Digital photos no longer have to be emailed in small loads so they don't take forever. Store thousands of your favorite photos and take them with you wherever you go so others can see them or just store them until you get to a computer to transfer them.

You can't carry your PC with you to many places, but you can transfer files from your pc to your iPod and use the iPod as another hard drive. You can also synchronize your address book, contact lists and calendar and store it all on your iPod. You iPod will help you become more organized than you ever thought possible. Children love iPods every bit as much as adults, whether for all the music they can listen to or just the many games that can be played on the iPod. Whatever the reason, the iPod is a very special unique item.
